Developing Design Approaches for Tile Pattern Designs Inspired by Traditional Textile Patterns

This article presents multidisciplinary research that involved design (i.e., textiles, tiles, pattern design), mathematics symmetry and seven frieze groups) a viewpoint on product development for business opportunities. comprised experiment survey. In the experiment, two approaches were created to translate characteristics of traditional textile patterns into new designs floor tiles.
